These incense holders are handmade from pinch pots in stoneware clay, decorated in shiny white glaze with arcs of blue dots on the inside, and a textured exterior. Each one is very slightly different, reflecting the entirely hand made nature of these holders.

I love to burn incense when I’m doing yoga, or just to have a lovely scent drifting round the house. Watching the smoke when the sunlight hits it I find quite calming, and the scents are so much earthier and more pleasant than supermarket air freshener (most of that gives me a headache).

I think it’s useful to have an incense holder which will also catch the ash, and where you can pop the spent match you used the light the incense stick, and so these were born.

These will hold a standard incense stick such as Nag Champa (the hole may be big enough for slightly fatter sticks, but I can’t guarantee it). As with all incense or candles take care with flames and smouldering items.
